| Purpose
The Building Maintenance Ministry is responsible for doing minor repairs and upkeep of Santa Fe Christian Church's buildings. It is comprised of five functionally aligned teams |
| Ministry Teams | |
A/C and Heating Team - Responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance and repair of heat and air conditioning systems at SFCC. this includes ensuring periodic preventive maintenance and also includes providing recommendations and cost estimates to the Board of Elders and Deacons when they are near the end of their lifecycle or otherwise require replacement. |

Baptistry Maintenance Team - Responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance of the baptistry and associated pump and heater equipment. this includes maintaining the proper level, temperature, and cleanliness of the water in the baptistry. |

| Electrical Maintenance Team - Responsible for maintaining the electrical distribution systems at SFCC. This responsibility includes periodic evaluation and inspection of the electrical distribution system to locate and repair any potential problems. The team is also responsible for overseeing the upgrade and expansion of the electrical distribution system when needed. | |
General Building Maintenance Team - Responsible for making general repairs to the facilities at SFCC. This includes, but is not limited to painting or repairing floors, walls, and ceilings. |

Plumbing Ministry - Responsible for repairing, maintaining, and overseeing the expansion of the plumbing, sinks, toilets, and other fixtures as needed |

| Septic System Maintenance Team - Responsible for maintaining the septic system that is in use at SFCC. This includes periodic preventative maintenance and repair of the system and its field lines as required. | |
| Water System Maintenance Team - Responsible for maintaining the well and any associated pumps, tanks, purifiers, softeners, or similar equipment. The team is also responsible for completing any forms or applications required by the Subsidence District, Health Department, or other water regulatory agencies with jurisdiction over the well. |
