Benevolence Outreach Ministry

What is benevolence? Helping those in need. Our benevolence ministry has two mission.

The first is to help those outside our congregation. We accomplish this through our support of H.I.S. ministries, an organization located in Santa Fe which supports the needy of Galveston County with food, clothing, and other items.

The second part of this ministry is helping our own members. Especially our aging saints who have given so much to our congregation and community. Benevolence ministry volunteers include those taking food to the berieved, sick, and shut-ins, members who help with yard or maintenance tasks, and others offering their time and talents to help out wherever needed. These are the unsung heroes of our faith.
